Rural Organizing Project (ROP) exists to "strengthen the skills, resources, and vision or primary leadership in local autonomous human dignity groups with a goal of keeping such groups vibrant source for a just democracy." Toward that end, we offer you the following Organizing Tools, all located here in our “toolbox”. They are effective, easy-to-use, and carry no worries of pesky nail gun accidents!
The heart of our work as a grassroots rural social change movement are
the 65 member local human dignity
groups that make up the ROP. Below are some of the best
practice tools created by ROP leaders to help build and strengthen the
capacity of local groups. When analyzing issues, ROP uses the Democracy Grid to decide if said issue “advances democracy” or takes us away from the basic premise of democracy. Front Page in PDF CLICK HERE or Second /Back Page in PDF CLICK HERE
