ROP prides itself on doing a lot of organizing on a small budget. We maintain a small staff and count on volunteers to fill administrative and maintenance needs. The rural progressive movement is made up of hundreds and hundreds of small town leaders. However, to coordinate strategic work moving forward, we need supporters to become members and contribute to our work.
The best way to make an ongoing contribution towards human dignity and social justice in Rural Oregon is by becoming an ROP sustainer. You can make a monthly contribution directly from your bank account to ours. This gives us consistent income that we can depend on each month and allows us to dedicate your full donation to our organizing work (without losing a percentage to credit card processing fees). Invite friends, family, coworkers and neighbors to your home or the home of a friend, and invite an ROP staff person to attend and talk about the amazing work we’re doing! You can support ROP to raise funds to keep our work cutting edge and accountable, and also bring your network into a statewide movement for human dignity.
