KYR Toolkit
As part of the commitment that ROP has made to those who work and support immigrant fairness, we have developed a “Know your Rights” toolkit with the help of organizations such as UNETE in Jackson County and Civil Liberties Defense Center in Lane County.
This toolkit provides everything that you and/or your group need to educate your community about their rights when dealing with law enforcement. Included are sample flyers to advertise a workshop, a timeline for planning it, rights cards samples, and brochures to distribute in the community. It also includes the PowerPoint presentation created by Civil Liberties Defense Center with the extra helpful information added by ROP during the 2011 Fall Know your Rights tour.
We are always trying to improve our resources and keep them updated. If you have any questions and/or suggestions regarding this toolkit, feel free to contact keyla@rop.org!

For those who wish to share their stories as immigrants in Oregon, here is a consent form to collect them. These stories can become powerful tools to help persuade people in our state and local government to stop policies that hurt our communities.
