Each major election cycle ROP puts together a short voter’s guide made especially by and for small town and rural voters, “STAND: Small Town Actions for A New Democracy.” It is legal for non-profits to use.

Our special edition STAND Voter guide will analyze these statewide ballot measures using the Democracy Grid and asking if the measures propose Workable Solutions to problems facing our state and communities. This framework assists voters who want to do the right thing but are feeling frustrated by election time spin.

Here’s a preview of what’s likely to be in the ROP Voter’s Guide for this special election:

  • Recommendations on ballot measures in accessible, jargon-free language
  • How to choose a candidate
  • Election basics – helpful reminders for voters new and old

Orders need to be placed by September 1st. Bulk guides will be mailed to arrive by September 22nd for your group to distribute locally.

Approximate costs are: $50/1000, $35/500, $20/ 250, $10/ 100 plus shipping.

Exciting updates in 2010!

ROP is crafting a template ‘insert’ for local counties that local groups will be able to plug-in information specific to your community about foreclosure rates, unemployment, and local organizing.
